One thing that moving into one’s own house will teach you, is just how much stuff you don’t have because you’ve been renting.  I need a pair of bolt cutters to open my garage (don’t ask).  I hate to buy something I’ll likely use only once, but I’ve never needed them before.  Unfortunately, it seems many people agree, which makes it hard to borrow said tool when no one else buys them either.  So do me a favor, go buy some bolt cutters so that I can borrow them from you.  While you are at it, a scroll saw, a drill press, a table saw, and a chop saw would be SUPER.

Luckily, my power gets turned on tomorrow, so I can start more pressing work, like laying the new kitchen floor and filling in a couple doors.  This time of year light is working against me since it’s already getting dark when I get off work, so not being able to turn lights on inside the house sure is problematic when there’s no ‘lectricity.  My list of to-dos is currently a mile long, and I’d be lying to say that I’m not feeling a little pressed for time.  The fact that I’m losing 3 days because of Thanksgiving certainly doesn’t help.

I’m having problems laying down my timeline.  Usually I’m very good scheduling.  I have to be out of my current place by the first, but I still need gas and water turned on obviously.  Plus the work I need to find time to do.  Then there’s getting hands together to move my big furniture.  I really hate moving.  Getting done seems so far away.  I just hate sacrificing

Luckily, I just checked my vacation balance, and it seems that I have plenty of vacation time so that I could take a day or two off if I have to next week.  That seems like it would help substantially.  I feel better now.  A little.  Look me up after my head explodes.
