Yes, please do, I'd like to see what you do with it. Odds are, future releases won't be even close to this fast. There were just a number of things that I was able to get stuffed in pretty fast that I decided was worth releasing quickly. Polish off the rough edges, so to speak.

Future updates are likely to include more in the way of features and functionality, rather than layout changes. That will naturally take longer to develop. But, the to-do list has already started!

Hi Michael.

Wow that was quick.. eh I've just downloaded your new version, hopefully I will get a chance to play with it later. Thats great you managed to integrate the drop cap, I wish I had seen that effect sooner, but it looks great. I know what you mean about not being able to post an image vs losing the drop cap effect but for me personally thats no biggie..

Anyway, thats amazing you managed to release 1.1 so quick. Thanks again for sharing such a great theme, I will keep you posted on developments.

I just finished testing a built in version of the dropcap hook, and it works and will be in the upcoming 1.1 release, along with some other improvements. No plugin will be required for it to work, and the style is included in the default stylesheet.

The only catch, which I might be able to work out, is that you must start a post with paragraph text for it to work. If you put an image or something else first thing in the post, the dropcap will not show up. This was a behavior in the original plugin as well.

Hi Michael,

Heh, dont worry about the firefox bug, I just rebooted and its fine now. must of been something going on at my end. soo.. That feature about the drop caps I think that would be a good idea to integrate into the theme. I think with some themes (not all) it really works, and it seems to work a treat with the typography of this one.

Im using wp 2.5 and its working fine so far..

I've just been playing around with the theme for the last hour or so, I love the spaciousness feel of it, Im sure it is going to be very popular. ..

Thanks again.

Thanks for the feedback, I've noted it and will look in to it. Though the enter button does seem to leave a new line fine for me in FF (2.0.0.13). What version are you using so I can doublecheck it?

The letters are done with the Dropcap First Letter plugin, which is a plugin that basically accomplishes a very simple task of wrapping the first letter in a span automatically. I am considering building this functionality in to the theme by default soon.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for creating and sharing this great theme, I found your site from a link on wordpress site. theres just something about this theme that makes you want to stay on the site:)

And soo..

I think I may of found a weird bug, though I dont know if its just my computer, but for some reason the return/enter button doesnt work in the comments box text input in firefox, but does in IE.. ?. Strange.. just thought I would let you know in case you wanted to check it out.

Also how do you do the large letters before each post?.

Many Thanks and keep up the great work!
